Pre-Exhibition Investment Roadshow Boosts Anticipation for CIIE
Shanghai's National Exhibition and Convention Center hosted a pre-exhibition investment roadshow for the 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) on Thursday.
The event primarily targeted exhibitors and buyers in the consumer goods and service trade sectors.
The event saw participation from 45 companies in the Consumer Goods Exhibition Zone, including Bosch, Carrefour and ZARA, covering industries like home appliances, fashion and cosmetics. In the Service Trade Exhibition Zone, 25 companies like HSBC and DHL Express took part. Notable buyers included China Aerospace and Walmart.
During the event, Shanghai M&G Stationery Co., Ltd., Shanghai Pharma Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Dongchang Enterprise Group Co., Ltd. signed significant memorandum of cooperation agreements as important purchasers for the CIIE.
Sun Chenghai, deputy director-general of the China International Import Expo Bureau, announced that the 6th CIIE will be held from November 5th to 10th in Shanghai this year. As of now, the contracted exhibition area has exceeded 330,000 square meters, with over 280 of the Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders, including the world's top 15 automobile brands, three major mining giants, ten major industrial electrical enterprises, ten major medical device companies and all of the"Big Four" accounting firms participating in the event.
The preparation for the CIIE has shifted its focus from exhibition recruitment to investment promotion and exhibition organization. The organizers are actively inviting more professional buyers through investment roadshows and pre-exhibition matchmaking events, aiming to facilitate precise connections between exhibitors and potential customers.
