Seyedeh Sara Ahmadi Nishaboori, an Iranian who grew up in Ningbo and studies in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, is deeply fond of the two cities. The setting of the 19th Asian Games seems tailor made for her.

Nishaboori came to Ningbo with her family in 2005. Over the past 18 years, the Iranian student, who can speak fluent Mandarin, has completely integrated into the local society. She is a fan of Ningbo delicacies, especially sticky pastries. Now Nishaboori is pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor at Zhejiang University.

As the 19th Asian Games draw near, Hangzhou and Ningbo - the host and co-host of the Games - have meticulously prepared for this prominent international sporting event.

As a sports lover, Nishaboori, has also been engaged in various activities to welcome the Games. In April, she joined a relay race in Ningbo. During the event, about 15,000 people, including more than 1,000 expats, took part in an eight-day race which brought together 100 residential communities and villages across the city.
