"Ensuring quality service is the primary focus today, in our endeavor to preserve cultural heritage and cultural artifacts. It should serve as a cultural oasis in our lives, a grand classroom for our learning and an encyclopedia for our reading", Shan Jixiang, chairman of China Cultural Relics Academy, and director of the Academic Committee of the Palace Museum, said.

"These students, these children growing up in the museum will undoubtedly become the generation that cherishes museums and holds a deep understanding of our splendid Chinese traditional culture."

This year's Beijing Culture Forum, co-organized by the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, the municipal Party committee, and the government of Beijing, will be held from Sept 14 to 15 in the capital. Here are a series of talks with celebrities covering various fields such as calligraphy, literature, dance, and opera.
