Twenty-six singer-songwriters from around the world gathered at a music space of Hikoon Music Group in Haikou, Hainan province, where a music camp took place in October.

Over the weeklong camp, the singer-songwriters worked together and created more than 20 original new songs.

As part of the programs co-launched by Universal Music Publishing China and the Hikoon Music Group, the camp aims to offer a platform for international musicians to work together and bring out original work.

The cooperation between Universal Music Publishing China and the Hikoon Music Group also covers areas of music copyright protection and introduces musicians from home to abroad.

With multiple music spaces built around China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Wuhan and Chengdu, the cooperation will help and support more singer-songwriters to release their original works.
