Intl artists present their impressions of Shanghai through art
A Shanghai city image visual art exhibition themed "Shanghai in my mind" opened at the Shanghai Metro Nanjing East Road Station on Dec 14.
The exhibition features more than a dozen art creations, including illustrations, wax painting and art posters, by designers from China, France, Italy, Japan, Denmark and other countries.
The source of inspiration for the works include things found in Shanghai like the Huangpu River and the man-made garden located on the 37th floor of Shanghai Center, the world's second tallest building.
For example, Shanghai designer Ryan Wang has used colorful wax blocks to present a scene of East Nanjing Road after nightfall, which constitutes part of his impressions of "Magnificent Shanghai".
While Alice Melloni, an Italian artist, has found her inspirations from the Huangpu River.
