The Spring Festival has been officially listed as a UN Floating Holiday in the UN Calendar of Conferences and Meetings starting from 2024, as announced by the Chinese Mission to the United Nations in a statement on Friday.
"This shows the wide influence of Chinese civilization and will vigorously promote exchanges and mutual learning among different civilizations, exemplifying the UN's value of diversity and inclusivity," said the mission.
