Visitors peruse books and materials introducing Regong arts, Dec 27, 2023. An exhibition featuring the achievements in the preservation of Regong arts took place in Beijing on Wednesday. The exhibition prominently featured 70 works from contemporary masters spanning three generations, representing the elderly, middle-aged, and young talents in the art genre. The exhibited pieces encompassed a diverse array of art forms, including thangka painting, embroidery, architectural murals, etc. Additionally, several inheritors of intangible cultural heritage demonstrated the traditional craft of thangka painting on-site during the event.[Photo/Xinhua]
