Zhu Songchun, CPPCC National Committee member, head of the Beijing Institute for General Artificial Intelligence

The society is entering the era of intelligence, and artificial general intelligence, or AGI, is a typical example of "new quality productive forces". As AGI becomes a key battlefield in global technological competition, it is of crucial importance to cultivate talent. I believe that with our joint efforts, we can definitely chart a technological path that suits China's national conditions to enable the safe development of AGI and benefit humanity.

Zhou Yuan, CPPCC National Committee member, founder and CEO of knowledge-sharing platform Zhihu

China's internet development will play a more positive role in driving "new quality productive forces" by giving birth to new types of workers. These workers will pay close attention to the latest technologies and development trends and proactively share their professional knowledge online. They will make the internet a friendly online space for knowledge sharing and a classroom that is always open.

Ni Minjing, CPPCC National Committee member, head of the Shanghai Science and Technology Museum

The CPPCC National Committee has launched a Members' Science Lecture Hall, where many academicians and renowned scientists are taking the lead in popularizing science. An increasing number of scientists are taking on part-time roles as vice-principals for science and technology in primary and secondary schools. Scientific education is not just about high-tech education. Everything is open to exploration, and even rural areas are full of scientific resources. Every inch of soil, every flower and every clear night sky presents excellent opportunities for scientific exploration.

Lin Xiaofa, CPPCC National Committee member, chairman of Jomoo Group, a Chinese smart kitchen and bathroom products maker

Private enterprises should strive to carry forward the "Jinjiang Experience", give play to the entrepreneurs' hardworking spirit and promote technological innovation. (Jinjiang, a county-level city in Quanzhou, East China's Fujian province, is the birthplace of many private enterprises and homegrown brands. This unique situation created the phrase "Jinjiang Experience".) Currently, private enterprises contribute more than 70 percent of tax revenue in Fujian, as well as over 80 percent of employment opportunities and over 90 percent of market entities in the province. Jomoo is dedicated to self-independent technological innovation and has realized intelligent and digital transformation, while creating the world's first green "lighthouse factory".

Lu Jin, CPPCC National Committee member, chairman of China National Gold Group Co

State-owned enterprises have made significant contributions to promoting high-quality economic development, ensuring the implementation of major Party and State strategies, advancing self-reliance in high-level scientific and technological development, and better meeting the people's aspirations for a better life. It's important to support the development of both SOEs and private enterprises, and more efforts should be made to promote the innovative development of companies and propel China's economy towards sustained growth and stability.
