Arxan, a county-level city in Hinggan League, has invested more than 5 billion yuan to promote tourism infrastructure and services.

Currently, the city has one world-class geo-park, one 5A tourist attraction, and two 4A tourist attractions.

With the support of strict ecological protection policies and a comprehensive approach to enhancing the ecosystems of mountains, rivers, forests, fields, lakes, grasslands, and deserts, as well as effective measures to prevent forest and grassland fires, Arxan has achieved a forest coverage rate of 81.2 percent and a green vegetation coverage rate of 95 percent. The concentration of negative oxygen ions has also reached as high as 23,000 per cubic centimeter in the city.
