North China's Shanxi province captivated college students with its allure during an event held in Beijing on Tuesday. The provincial culture and tourism department organized a promotional gathering at the Communication University of China in Beijing, unveiling the province's rich and distinctive cultural and tourism offerings.

At the event, a new book detailing 100 cultural relics in Shanxi, guiding readers through the tapestry of Chinese civilization, was launched. This publication is set to find a place in the libraries of several higher education institutions in Beijing, including Beijing Normal University, Beihang University, and Beijing Jiaotong University.
