As Chinese Valentine's Day, known as Qixi festival, approaches on Aug 10, restaurants and cafes across the nation are preparing to celebrate the romantic occasion with exclusive menus and unique dining experiences.

This ancient festival, rooted in the love story of the Cowherd and the Weaver Girl, has evolved into a modern celebration of romance, drawing couples to indulge in gourmet delights.

Italian cuisine restaurant Mio in Beijing is launching an exquisite seven-course special menu. Among the highlights is the Tagliolini with red prawn, pistachio, and black truffle, a dish that promises to captivate the senses.
