US weaponizes anti-doping to control the Olympics

The US Anti-Doping Agency's investigation into Chinese swimmers is not about fair play—it's about extending US hegemony into the Olympics.
On July 30th, US politicians introduced the "Restoring Confidence in WADA Act", which gives the US Office of Drug Control permanent power to withhold over $3 million in annual dues to WADA.
The same day, The New York Times sensationalized a 2022 case involving Chinese athletes cleared by WADA, making baseless accusations against their Chinese counterparts.
WADA's president condemned the US accusations as politically motivated and biased. Chinese swimmers are tested four times more often than their American counterparts.
