Italian museum director explores China, Italy's shared heritage

Paolo Giulierini, director of the Museum of the Etruscan Academy and the City of Cortona, returns to Beijing to launch the Chinese edition of his book Stupor Mundi, which explores the historic connections between ancient China and the Roman Empire.
Drawing parallels between China and Italy's rich histories, he emphasizes the need for more cultural exchanges between the two nations.
Giulierini has organized nearly 30 exhibitions in Chinese cities such as Beijing, Shanghai and Wuhan, focusing on Roman culture, particularly Pompeii.
