The third edition of Women in Motion, an initiative held by the Kering Group in collaboration with the West Bund Museum celebrating the creativity of women choreographers, took place in Shanghai on Saturday and Sunday.

Three Chinese and French choreographers presented their new work under the theme Body Matters, and hosted a series of events, including film projection, open dialogues, workshops and an improvisational dance party at West Bund Museum.

The human body is the foundation for any empathy between people, Ge Huichao, curator of this year's events, said on the opening night. Dance is the oldest and most borderless art language, she said. "I hope dance will continue to be the link between cultures and people."
