The new Pinghu branch line of the 10 kV Ping'an 163 line will be connected with the old line. The original plan anticipated power outages in 12 substations of the branch line, affecting the electricity consumption of over 500 households. To fully ensure reliable power supply and adhere to the working principle of "continuity without interruption", the company's operation and maintenance department, dispatch and control center, local power supply station, live line operation team, and other departments and teams, after numerous technical scheme discussions and joint site investigations, ultimately decided to carry out the relocation and reconstruction work by combining "uninterrupted operation + medium voltage generator".

Medium voltage power generation operates at 10kV, serving distribution network lines and ensuring uninterrupted power supply for main lines. On that day, despite the passing of the Autumnal Equinox, the sun remained warm, and over ten staff members on site methodically carried out power maintenance work. They opened the outrigger work cabin, laid down the felt cloth, and accessed the cable compartment... Soon, the on-site staff were drenched in sweat.

"Start retracting the cables!" At 3:00 pm, the final task of removing the cable equipment connection from the generator car at the operation site commenced. The generator car was disconnected from the power grid and taken out of operation. The task, which lasted over nine hours, was successfully completed, reducing the number of power outage hours for the company by over 80.

"Medium voltage generator car + live line operation" significantly reduces the impact of power outages during line relocation, ensuring a normal power supply for the surrounding residents. This approach provides new technical support for future emergency power supply guarantees and the cancellation of planned power outages for maintenance.
