University students take part in a model CPPCC program
University students from Beijing's Chaoyang district participated in a model CPPCC event recently, experiencing consultative democracy while proposing solutions to social issues and gaining insight into China's political system.
The finals of the "First Beijing Chaoyang District University Students' Model CPPCC Proposal Competition" featured 15 teams from various universities, with proposals covering areas such as cultural-tourism integration, aging-friendly renovations and public health.
The Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference is a patriotic united front organization of the Chinese people, serving as a key mechanism for multi-party cooperation and political consultation under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. It organized one of the "two sessions", the annual event critical to China's political system.
