China sets good example on how major power should behave

"Things go wrong with World Bank loans as well. Things go wrong with American initiatives as well. But the Belt and Road initiative is very positive, China simply shows a very good example on how major power should behave," said Bert Hofman, Senior Fellow and Former Director of the East Asian Institute at National University of Singapore, at the Global Strategic Dialogue (2024) session titled "Responsibilities of Major Countries Amid a Dynamic Global Landscape", jointly held on Thursday in Beijing by the CASS and China Daily.
