Australian health brand Inner Health unveiled its new products at the 7th China International Import Expo (CIIE) on Friday, dedicated to addressing sensitive skin issues in women.

The two new products, the 14-Day Rapid Repair Inner Health Skin Shield Sensitive and the 28-Day skin hydration & elasticity support Skin Rejuvenate Postbiotic, are specially designed for sensitive skin as an upgrade to its Skin Shield products, introduced by Paul Mannion, vice president of Metagenics Asia Pacific, the parent company of Inner Health.

According to the 2024 Analysis Report on Chinese Women's Sensitive Skin and Makeup Products for Sensitive Skin released by industry research and consulting institute iResearch, more than 80 percent of Chinese women have experienced skin sensitivity symptoms.

"Although the sensitive skin market is huge, there are a few products addressing the problem from the inside, which inspired Inner Health. Consumers are looking for more than just products, but comprehensive and more targeted skin health solutions," Mannion explained. As a brand participating in the CIIE for the second time, Inner Health unveiled its new AKK Weight & Metabolic Management products during last year's Expo.

Mannion believes the product garnered wide attention from the industry and enthusiastic responses from the market upon its release, achieving remarkable success in the Chinese market.

"Chinese consumers are very discerning; they know what they're looking for," Mannion said, "We were pleasantly surprised by the good awareness of probiotics when we launched the products."

"We feel pleased to be among many other high-quality brands here," he added.
