State Grid Jinhua Power Supply Company: Accelerating the green transformation of ports and installing a 'green engine' for the development of shipping
The Nübu Wharf in Lanxi, Zhejiang province is the main transfer station and freight wharf from the Lanjiang River to the Fuchun River, with a huge annual throughput. Nowadays, as soon as the cargo ships dock, the crew will immediately connect the cables on the ship to the high-voltage shore power boxes on the wharf. The high-voltage shore power has successfully replaced the diesel generators on the ships to supply power for the vessels.
In order to better meet the power demand of ships at Yanggang Port, the State Grid Jinhua Power Supply Company has actively carried out a comprehensive upgrade and renovation on the nine new shore power piles at Yanggang Wharf and successfully connected them to the E-charging platform of the State Grid. The upgraded power system provides more stable and efficient power support for ships.
