French freestyle skier Tess Ledeux wins Beijing leg of World Cup
In the later men's final, Norway's Tormod Frostad came from behind, following a crush landing in his second run, by stomping a high-difficulty third run to win his career first World Cup title with 183.00 points in the Big Air discipline, landing one step higher on the podium after a runner-up finish at the season opener Chur, Switzerland, last week.
Italy's Miro Tabanelli finished runner-up with 182.25 points before Canada's Dylan Deschamps, who rounded it up the podium at third with 181.00 points.
"To be the gold medalist feels super sick. It's my first win. And I'm just super happy," Frostad said of securing his maiden Cup win in Big Air in Beijing.
"It was sick event. We got slushy landings. This is exactly what we like. The competition turned out great."
