On Dec 10, the operation control personnel of State Grid Suqian Power Supply Company detected an overload in the distribution transformer at the Yuelai Supply and Marketing Substation on line 111, 10kV Yuejie Street in Shuyang county, with a load rate of 86.79 percent. Upon receiving the work order, the handler Jiang Ziyu promptly logged into the AI Power Supply Service Command System (abbreviated as AI Power Supply Service). Within just two minutes, the system identified the anomaly as being caused by photovoltaic reverse power transmission and seasonal factors, a solution was provided subsequently. Following the load adjustment after being solved, the distribution transformer equipment has resumed normal operation.

In May of this year, the Digital Department of State Grid Jiangsu Electric Power Co Ltd developed and launched the AI-powered power supply service command system, leveraging a comprehensive grid map. This system has been implemented across multiple cities and regions, guiding grassroots personnel to handle various distribution network operation and maintenance tasks efficiently. The AI service system incorporates a range of intelligent tools, including system equipment anomaly management tools, distribution network measurement and battery shutdown, maintenance plan balancing etc. By integrating a grid map, calculation and deduction platform, and artificial intelligence computing power, grassroots equipment operation and maintenance personnel's perception, analysis and processing capabilities have been significantly enhanced.

Taking the distribution transformer overload as an example, the equipment anomaly management tool in the AI supply and service system has revolutionized the traditional approach to managing distribution transformer overload, which was solely reliant on manual analysis. This tool enables equipment owners to swiftly identify faults, significantly enhancing management efficiency and reducing management difficulty.

So far, the AI supply and service system has comprehensively covered 372 individuals across all levels of distribution operation and maintenance teams, as well as power supply stations in cities and counties within Suqian. It has managed 521 various plans and formulated 155 cause analyses and rectification strategies for the overload of auxiliary distribution transformers, injecting intelligent momentum into the development of power supply services.
