Pausing in front of the Weiming Lake porcelain painting, Phoebe, a PKU international student, is mesmerized by the exquisite work of art. To discover the porcelain culture and find a gift for her mom, she set off to China's porcelain wonderland of Liling.

Led by her friend Shi Yucong, they explored nine stunning spots and learned about the multicolored underglaze technique and artistry behind the porcelain. Inspired by the culture, Phoebe finally found the answer to what to get her mom in Liling.
