Transnational Spring Festival Gala set for release

The Melody of Spring 2025 transnational Spring Festival Gala has recently finished recording in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, and is set to premiere on Jan 27.

The gala features performers from Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Malaysia, and China, presenting a vibrant showcase of chorus, dance, sitcom, and instrumental ensembles to highlight Chinese culture with an international flair and energy.

Brazilian martial artist Gabriel de Morais brought Chinese kung fu onto the stage. Through his performance, he expressed his admiration for Chinese culture and his desire to share its charm with a global audience.

Performers from ASEAN countries also added unique passion to the stage, including Thai boy band PERSES' dynamic performance BODY GUARD.

Director Wang Zhu noted that the Melody of Spring has been held for 18 sessions, presenting not only Chinese culture but also integrated global culture, fostering emotional connections among international audiences in a festive atmosphere.

The gala is set to broadcast on Jan 27 with subtitles in English, Lao, Indonesian, Vietnamese, and Thai, reaching audiences across 48 media platforms in multiple countries.
