1. Apple unveils iPhone 4

Apple Inc unveiled iPhone 4 on the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) on June 7. The new iPhone 4 differs from its predecessors with a higher-resolution screen, longer battery life and thinner design. [Full Coverage]

3. Call of the vuvuzela

The vuvuzela, a long, plastic trumpet aroused much controversy for its huge noise-making ability, turned out to be an opportunity for Chinese manufacturers despite narrow profit margins.

About 90 percent of the vuvuzelas blown by soccer fans during the 2010 FIFA World Cup were made in China. [Full story]

4. Samsung unveils world's 1st 3D full-HD LED TV

Samsung Electronics Co, the world's largest flat screen TV maker, unveiled Thursdaywhen? the world's first three-dimensional (3D) full high-definition (HD) televisions using light-emitting diodes (LED), as the company aims to sell 2 million 3D TVs worldwide this year, the company said. 6. Lamborghini introduces luxury cell phone

Luxury automaker Lamborghini introduced its Spyder luxury cell phone with sapphire crystal screens at a price ranging from HK$13,800 to HK$21,800 ($1,780 to 2,811) in Hong Kong in the second half of 2010.

The Lamborghini Spyder cell phone has a 2.2 inches (2.6 centimeter) Sapphire crystal screen, with a 240 by 320 pixel resolution. The Lamborghini logo is embossed besides the three-mega pixel camera on the back. [Full story]

8. Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

The new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG was launched in China market at the Auto China 2010 in Beijing on April 23.?To many it embodies perfection in design with its gullwing doors, wide radiator grille and wing-shaped cross fins.

The SLS AMG is equipped with a 6.3-liter, V8 engine that can achieve a top speed of 317 km/h. It accelerates from?zero to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds.?[Photos]

9. China launches official Web map service

China has launched its official online mapping service, Map World, as Google Inc has yet to apply for a Web mapping license in the country.

The State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping (SBSM) officially unveiled the free online map service on Oct 21. [Full story]
