LOS ANGELES - The California-based premium electric vehicle manufacturer Fisker Automotive is ready to sell its environment-friendly low carbon-emission cars in China next fall, the company announced on Wednesday.

Executives from the Fisker Automotive and China Grand Auto(CGA) formalized the non-exclusive agreement during a ceremony near the CGA headquarters in Shanghai, the company said in a press release.

The American carmaker has partnered with CGA to sell its electric vehicles with extended range through CGA's network of over 200 retail stores across China.

Deliveries to Chinese customers can be expected to take place in the next fall.

The company has received about 3,000 pre-orders for the product from customers around the world. It plans to sell 15,000 vehicles per year globally.?
