BEIJING - Net profit of Xi'an Aircraft International Corporation (XAIC), a China-based aircraft maker and components supplier, rose 9.47 percent year-on-year to hit 345.56 million yuan ($52.36 million) last year, the company announced Tuesday.
Total business revenue reached 10.53 billion yuan, up 28.09 percent year-on-year, the company said in its annual business report filed with the Shenzhen Stock Exchange.

Total assets of XAIC hit 20.2 billion yuan by the end of 2010, up 18.64 percent compared to the same period last year, according to the report.
The aircraft maker delivered China's first new-generation homegrown short haul passenger aircraft, Xinzhou-600, in December last year. The model, designed for a maximum 2,450-km flying distance, can carry 50 to 60 passengers.
XAIC said in the report it was now developing its newest model, the Xinzhou-700.
