Calligraphy, wood handicrafts, guqin making (a seven-stringed plucked instrument in some ways similar to the zither) and tangle painting are some of the artistic pursuits of a group of people who choose to live in the small village of Dali in Wuhan city, Central China's Hubei province. The secluded village is perfect for those who want a quiet life away from the fast pace of society.
