Japanese carmaker Nissan Motor released two all-new car versions at the 16th Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition on Monday.

Both of the two versions, all-new mid-size Lannia and the new SUV Murano Hybrid are aimed at the young generation in China, according to Nissan's CEO Carlos Ghosn.

Lannia's exterior has fluid character lines, a V-Motion grille and "floating roof design", and it is also equipped with LED headlamps. Besides that, the interior is equipped with an advance audio system with smart-phone connectivity and a 7-inch multimedia display screen.

The company's new SUV Murano Hybrid is a lower-emission vehicle, which is equipped with several safety-shield systems, including the function that will alert the drivers when they are tired.

Both the two versions can be pre-ordered in China. Lannia will be produced in China and is expected to start sales this fall, while the Murano Hybrid will be available in the market this summer.

The Lannia is the first Nissan model specifically created for young Chinese consumers, as the company believes that the post-80's and post-90's generation will represent more than half of vehicle customers by the end of this year, said Ghosn.

He said that Nissan targets a sales record of more than 1.3 million units in 2015, so the car maker will launch four new vehicles in China over the next 12 months, including two SUVs.

The company now has five manufacturing plants and around 6,000 employees in China.
