Prince George cried when he met Prince Harry

Prince George "cried his eyes out" when he met his uncle Prince Harry for the first time.

The newborn royal, who is third in line to the throne, burst into tears during his first meeting with his father Prince William's younger brother at Kensington Palace on Wednesday (24.07.13).

Harry told reporters at the opening of "The Sentebale: Stories of Hope" exhibition on Thursday (25.07.13) that the baby boy was "crying his eyes out, like all babies" when his sister-in-law Duchess Catherine introduced them.

The 28-year-old prince, who vowed to protect his nephew but will make sure he has "fun" growing up, also confirmed he has already enjoyed his first "cuddle" with the infant, according to People.com.

He added: "It's fantastic to have an addition to the family. I only hope my brother knows how expensive my babysitting charges are!"

The Duke, Duchess and Prince of Cambridge left Kensington Palace on Wednesday morning and are now staying at the home of Catherine's parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, in Bucklebury, Berkshire, South East England.

The couple welcomed their son, whose full name is Prince George Alexander Louis, into the world at St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London, at 16:24pm on Monday (22.07.13) and left the following day.
