Streets cleaning for Tibetan Losar

As the Tibetan Losar Iron Rabbit New Year approaches, Lhasa conducts regular urban street cleaning to ensure a clean environment for the grand festival, source from Lhasa's Municipal Urban Sanitation Bureau.

Daily sanitation examination is implemented to keep all urban roads, public toilets and dustbins tidy and clean, especially to allieviate the pollution caused by degenerating urban traffic.

Officials in charge of the campaign called on relevant individuals and units, such as large decorating and building enterprises, to dispose of rubbish at the appointed spot near the electric power plant on Nachen Road.

Random trash disposals in other places will be seriously warned and punished.
