Large Medium SmallURUMQI - Ten people were killed and two others injured in a road accident in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region on Monday morning, local authorities said.
A cement mixer rear-ended a motor tricycle and then collided with a minibus at 7:45 am in Kuytun city, according to the municipal government.
The injured were sent to local hospitals for treatment.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
