In the Delegation of Europe Union in China, a unique seminar themed Building Infrastructure in the 21st Century: White Elephants or Foundations for the future was rounded off on Tuesday.
With the intention of discussion Investment on Infrastructure?- the topic of G20 2016 in China, the seminar invited Lina Wong, the Counselor (Treasure) Australian Embassy to Beijing shared the advanced practices on Infrastructure Governance of Australia.
Andrea Goldstein, the alumni representative of Italy Bocconi University, shared his forward-looking view on G20 next year, analyzing the possible divergences between the 20 biggest economy entities.
Doctor Hu from China Renmin University explained One Belt One Road initiative and Asia Investment Bank from an academic view. He also clarified some misunderstanding from western world to these two initiatives in which China is playing the main leading role.
This seminar was organized by Bocconi University Alumni Association (BAA) Beijing Chapter. University Bocconi, founded in 1902, was the first Italian university to grant a degree in economics. For a century, Bocconi has played a leading role in Italy's social and economic modernization. The Beijing chapter of BAA has 40 around alumni who are active in pole industries of Italy with a responsibility of bridging with China. Majority of them work as Italian enterprises or organizations' delegation in China market for years.
It's also said in March, 2016, the Global Alumni Summit of Bocconi University will be given in Shanghai. The ex Prime Minister Mr Monti has confirmed his attendance.
