1970s: “Three pieces of treasure”
Without fireworks and Spring Holiday during the "cultural revolution" (1966-1976), the most popular gifts were called "three pieces of treasure": a washbasin, towel and china cup. Most items were printed with red stars and slogans like "push forward revolution and production".
