Just like the title of the film, Hollywood action movie Fast and Furious 7 has smashed all records in a fast and furious way. The thriller increased its 15-day box office take to 2.05 billion yuan ($330.5 million), becoming the highest grossing film of all time in China.

Although its earnings slightly dipped compared to the previous week, but it still managed to collect 451 million yuan ($72.7 million) in its second week at the ticket counters, and retained the top film of the week, according to data from Ent Group.

The total sales meant the movie has beaten the record set by Transformers: Age of Extinction, which earned 1.97 billion yuan ($319 million).

The new release romantic drama The Left Ear took 197 million yuan ($31.9 million) in three days, putting it on the second place. Fan Bingbing-starring romance film Ever Since We Love holding well in its second week retained the third place. It collected 63.3 million yuan($10.2 million) while its 10-day total reached135.8 million yuan ($21.9 million).

DreamWorks Animation’s new release Home took fourth spot and 49.6 million yuan ($8.2 million) in its first week.

Chinese war action film Wolf Warriors added 24.9 million yuan ($4.02 million) as it held on to its fifth spot and produced a revised 25-day cumulative of 521 million yuan ($84 million).

For the sixth spot, Sabotage with Arnold Schwarzenegger managed 15.5 million yuan ($2.5 million) in three days. Chinese romantic drama Silent Separation took seventh spot and 13 million yuan ($2.11 million) with its pre-release screenings. With a cast full of top young stars, Separation is likely to play higher in its first full week of release.

Johnny Depp and Gwyneth Paltrow comedy Mordecai limped further, adding only 8.8 million yuan ($1.42 million) for a 10-days score of 21.9 million yuan ($3.53 million) after 10 days, and took eighth spot.

In 10 position was The Queens, with Shawn Dou and Korean actress Song Hye Kyo, managing 3.5 million yuan ($0.56 million) for a total of 15.3 million yuan ($2.46 million) after 12 days.
