A year after Lu Han's first song for the movie
Our Tomorrow broke records, the singer-actor's latest song
Medals is making waves.
The song is based on Lu's singing for The Witnesses, a crime thriller in which Lu, 25, plays the role of a man seeking the truth through a plot involving seven people from different backgrounds.
The music video of Medals has been viewed more than 3 million times on major streaming websites in China.
The Witnesses, a Chinese remake of the 2011 South Korean movie Blind, has grossed more than 214 million yuan ($33.5 million yuan) in box-office revenues since it was released on the Chinese mainland in late October.
Some movie critics say its market success is mainly thanks to Lu's charisma. A former member of South Korean pop group EXO, Lu, though has yet to be fully recognized as an actor.
