70-year-old woman builds timepiece museum at home

Wu Xiuying, a 70-year-old woman in Jilin, Jilin province has collected more than a thousand large and small timepieces from home and abroad in the past 32 years, spending more than 100,000 RMB. Her nearly 200-square-meter residence houses all kinds of old-fashioned wall clocks and other timepieces, making it a small museum.

Wu said that, with the strong support of her husband and son, she started collecting timepieces that appealed to her. The oldest wall clock at her museum was produced in 1813. The item from farthest away is a small, old belt clock produced in the United States.
