Wang Liqin

Born in 1978 in Shanghai.

Started playing table tennis at the age of 6.

Selected to the national team in 1993.

Second in men's singles in the 1995 National Table Tennis Championships held in Wuhan.

Third in mixed doubles, paired with Wang Nan in the 1997 World Table Tennis Championships held in Manchester.

Second in men's doubles, teamed with Yan Sen, in the 1997 China National Table Tennis Grand Prix.

Second in men's doubles, paired with Yan Sen, and 3rd in men's singles in the 1998 Australia Open .

Men's team champion and 2nd in men's doubles, paired with Yan Sen in the 1998 Asian Table Tennis Championships held in Osaka, Japan.

Team title winner and gold medallist in mixed doubles, paired with Wang Nan in the 1998 Asian Games held in Bangkok, Thailand.

Champion in men's singles and doubles, paired with Yan Sen, in the1999 ITTF Grand Prix Final.

Yan Sen

Born in 1975 in Jiangsu Province.

Champion of men's doubles, paired with Ma Lin, in the 1997 Australia Open.

Second in men's doubles, teamed with Wang Liqin, in the 1997 China National Table Tennis Grand Prix.

Men's team title winner and 3rd in men's singles and doubles in the 1998 Asian Table Tennis Championships held in Osaka, Japan.

Men's doubles champion, paired with Wang Liqin in the 1999 ITTF Grand Prix held in France.

Runner-up of men's doubles in the 1999 World Table Tennis Championships in Holland.
