Xiong Ni

champion of men's 3m springboard at 27th Olympic Games.

Twenty-five-year-old Xiong is a legendary figure in Chinese diving. He, at the age of 13, began to show his talent in the 1988 Seoul Olympics.

In the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, he earned a bronze medal for China. Then he changed from platform to springboard.

In the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, he claimed the 3m springboard gold.

Xiao Hailiang

Gold medallist in men's 3m springboard synchronized, paired with Xiong Ni, in the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

Second in men's 3m springboard and first in men's 3m springboard synchronized, paired with Xiong Ni, in the 2000 National Diving Championships, China's Olympic qualifying match for the Sydney 2000 Olympics.

Champion of men's 3m springboard synchronized, paired with Xiong Ni, and second in men's 3m springboard in the 2000 World Cup held in Australia.

Champion of men's 3m springboard in the Germany leg of the 1999 World Cup series.

Won men's 3m springboard synchronized, paired with Yu Zhuocheng, in the 1999 World Cup held in New Zealand.

Champion of men's 3m springboard synchronized, teamed with Yu Zhuocheng, and third in men's 3m springboard in the 1998 FINA Diving Grand Prix.
