Saddam absent as trial adjourned again

The chair of former Iraqi President Saddam Hussein remains empty during his
trial in Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone December 7, 2005. Saddam Hussein
refused to attend his trial for crimes against humanity on Wednesday, bringing
the often chaotic proceedings to a halt before the presiding judge decided to
