China and Yemen signed on Monday three cooperation agreements worth 105 million yuan ($15.4 million), state-run Saba news agency reported.
Under the agreements, China will allocate 50 million yuan to promote economic and technical cooperation between the two sides. Beijing will also give Sanaa as much funds in support of the country's development projects.
Yemeni Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdul- Karim al-Arhabi was quoted by Saba as expressing appreciation at China's contribution to support development process in the country.
Chinese ambassador to Yemen, Liu Denglin, who signed the agreements with the Yemeni minister, said his country is keen on enhancing cooperation ties with Yemen.
