VIP guests devoured Chilean salmon, wine, pisco sours, pork sandwiches and other foods on Wednesday night at the Great Wall as former Chilean president Eduardo Frei Ruiz-Tagle came to Beijing on Wednesday night to kick-off Chile Week 2016.

Frei, Chile's special ambassador to the Asia-Pacific region, was joined by Chile’s vice-minister of trade, Andres Rebolledo, and the country’s ambassador to China, Jorge Heine. They hosted journalists, local officials and business leaders to kick-off a two-day trade mission after similar events in Guangzhou.
