Cristiano Ronaldo might have found a replacement for Irina Shayk - an Italian model who shares the same features as his Russian ex.

Victoria's Secret model Shayk reportedly dumped the Real Madrid star about five months ago over claims he cheated on her.

Now 30-year-old Ronaldo is said to be seeking solace in the arms of 24-year-old Alessia Tedeschi.

The Roman actress, who previously dated Silvio Berlusconi's son Luigi, accepted a VIP invitation from Ronaldo to watch Real Madrid's Champions League match against Juventus this month.

Italian media claims the Miss Italy 2011 finalist spent the night with her new beau.

Tedeschi has recently set tongues wagging after posting a string of photos from Madrid, including one of her at Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabeu stadium.

Ronaldo has been single since splitting with Shayk, his girlfriend of five years, following an argument on New Year's Eve.

Portuguese media reported Ronaldo dumped the 29-year-old Sports Illustrated model because she refused to attend his mother's 60th birthday.

However, reports have since emerged that Shayk found text messages from the soccer player to other women, after friends tried to tell her Ronaldo was unfaithful.

"Now I know the truth and I feel completely betrayed. I trusted him and stuck up for him when there were rumors he had been with other women. I feel stupid that Cristiano has fooled me," The Sun reported Shayk telling a source close to the couple.
