A disabled man sitting on a chair in the middle of South Siming Road threw his artificial limb into the road while trying to conduct a swoop and squat, causing a 2-hour-long traffic jam on the road on January 25.
According to reports, the disabled man, who is believed to have been drunk, moved a chair into the middle of South Siming Road and sat on it around 12:00 PM on January 25. He took off his artificial limb and left it on the road near him, blocking traffic on the road.
During the blockage, when a car passed by and almost hit his artificial limb, he claimed it was broken by the car and asked the driver to pay him money. Besides, he frightened many children passing by and lit a cigarette and tried to burn some passersby with it.
Some drivers tried to persuade him to leave, but he ignored them until the police arrived and made him leave, after which he went back to the road again until being taken away by police.
