The Fuzhou-based newspaper the Straits News received three videos on March 3, which recorded a bus driver making phone calls and using his cellphone while driving.

One video showed the driver was holding a cellphone with one hand and controlling the steering wheel with another. In other over-10-second video, the driver was concentrating on the cellphone screen and took only a few looks at the traffic situation.

The video was shot by a man surnamed Yang, who was taking the bus Line 163 back home in the afternoon on March 2. He was furious about the irresponsible and reckless behavior by the driver, and, therefore, decided to record it.

The newspaper then reported the incident to the bus company. The company director said they would investigate the incident, and if the misconduct proves to be true, necessary action would be taken against the the driver in line with the company policy.
