A high-speed ferry between Pingtan and Taiwan returned to service on April 16 following two months of maintenance, ptnet.cn reported.
The Haixia, now operates five trips per week, sailing to Taipei on Mondays and Saturdays and to Taichung on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
Another ferry, the Natchan Rera, will continue to operate the Taipei-Pingtan route on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Tickets on Haixia cost 640 yuan per person for single trips and 1,130 yuan for two-way trips, and 480 and 850 yuan for children.
