China's customs regulator released measures on Thursday to overhaul customs services for the newly-established free trade zones in Guangdong province, Tianjin city and Fujian province.
Operations formally kicked off Tuesday at three new free trade zones in Tianjin, Guangdong and Fujian as China opens itself wider to the outside world.
The plan is a crucial step for the country to promote reform and opening up as well as boost trade and facilitate investment, according to a statement released by the State Council, or the cabinet.
