The government of Guiyang, capital of Guizhou province has an outsourcing and call center service that has seen a real boom in business.
The city has a plan to join the neighboring Qianzhong Economic Zone and Gui'an New Area to develop a joint outsourcing "Global Call Center, Guiyang Services" brand, according to?a promotion conference on Guiyang's service outsourcing and call center industry held on April 24 in Beijing.

And the call center has become a major economic force in the city, so, the municipal government, the education bureau, the human resource bureau, and call center bureau are working together to to provide fiscal, education, and policy support for enterprises.

The Guiyang Call Center and Outsourcing Base opened on Jan 30, on a 33,000-square-meter space and with room for 3,200 agents and, starting this year, Guiyang plans to put 100 million yuan ($16.1 million) annually into that business for the next three years.
And there are many more call centers on the way and expected to open soon, including a Guanshanhu Big Data Center and Guiyang International Call Center. By the end of 2014, the Guiyang call center business involved 22,000 agents and that figure is expected to reach 72,000 by the end of this year and, hopefully, 300,000 by the end of 2020, involving more than 100 companies and providing as many as 700,000 jobs by then.
