The 12 Colours oil painting exhibition featuring the works of 12 well-known Guizhou artists was held in Kempinski Hotel Guiyang on September 13.
The 12 well-known Guizhou artists include Chen Hongqi, Geng Yi, Guo Daping, Kong Yan, Li Huiyong, Pan Wencheng, Peng Chengjun, Sun Jing, Yang Bin, Zhao Hua, Zhao Zhu and Zhu Shiwei.
"The exhibition is a good exchange platform for artists. It can promote Guizhou's art development," said Geng Yi, vice-chairman of the Guizhou Artists Association. He is also one of the exhibitors in the show.
"The exhibition is a bridge to connect artists and the public. Through this platform, artists will get more feedback from the public and more artwork will be recognized," said Hermit Art Gallery officials, one of the sponsors of the exhibition.
"Art and culture are a necessity, not an accessory," said Fuat Koroglu, general manager of Kempinski Hotel Guiyang. "Art is everywhere, we want to convey the concept that art is life." Fuat Koroglu and Kempinski Hotel Guiyang look forward to inspiring the public's passion for art.
The exhibition will last until October 16.
