A delegation joined by Dong Jiren, general-manager of Wuxi Shihlin Electric & Engineering Co, and Su Wenlong, manager of Suzhou Chung-Hwa Pharmaceutical & Chemical Industrial Co, paid a visit to the Cross-Straits (Kunshan) Trade Cooperation Zone in South China’s Jiangsu province on Feb 25.
The delegation’s first stop was the planning exhibition hall, where they learned about the zone’s supporting facilities and construction progress. Afterwards during a symposium, they showed great interest in the national preferential policies and financial policies of the Kunshan Deepen Cross-Strait Industrial Cooperation Experimental Zone and the headquarter economy in the park. They discussed key issues like the construction of an operation headquarter in the park.
Shihlin Electric & Engineering Corporation was established in 1955 with headquarters located in Taipei. Filling a pivotal role in Taiwan’s electric and engineering industry, Shihlin’s key businesses include electricity distribution, low-voltage apparatus and system engineering.
Suzhou Chung-Hwa Pharmaceutical & Chemical Industrial Co, the largest Taiwan-invested pharmaceutical enterprises on the Chinese mainland, was financed by Taiwan China Chemical & Pharmaceutical Co, a pharmaceutical giant in Taiwan.
