A ballet training center opens in Baotou, Inner Mongolia autonomous region on Dec 31, 2016. Co-launched by the Baotou Grand Theater and the National Ballet of China, it is the first ballet training center in central and west China. The launching ceremony also witnessed the establishment of a teenage ballet. A total of 90 teenage dancers were selected as the first members of the corps de ballet, and will each receive ballet training given by the National Ballet of China.
